In this weeks episode I am joined by Amy Yeoman. Amy has been a lifelong athlete. She ran track for The University of Portland then transferred to Montana State where she began her education in nutrition. She then continued on to get her Masters in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology degree at WSU and became a Registered Dietitian. After graduation she started Fuel to Thrive, her nutrition practice that focuses on helping individuals reach their goals through nutrition. Amy finds passion working with all kinds of athletes as she has continued her own athletic career as a triathlete. She has qualified for 2 Half Ironman World Championships, and continues to believe more and more in nutrition as a key foundation for athletic success and loves sharing that with other athletes!!
Here are a list of questions we discussed:
- What are the basics of intermittent fasting
- How can athletes utilize fasting in a safe way
- Is there a better way to lean out
- Is meal variability important
